You done good. Feeding hungry kids is the right thing to do, it isn't their fault the parents are idiots. Although we would have feed the idiots too, because I have gone hungry and it sucks. Never let anyone go hungry. I believe it says that in the good book. That is where I draw the line I feed anyone that is hungry but won't give them a penny.

I did about a 4MO stint working in a Days Inn for a Hindu woman... I seldom saw blankets washed, and a bedspread only once. There are vids on utoob where guys took black lights in to various $$ $$$ $$$$ of Hotel/motel.... what they showed on bed, Floors, WALLS and Ceilings even horrified me, and I KNEW it was bad.:eek:o_O

I'd be 50/50 on this one Judge, and only you were there to get the 'vibe' off these people.
Years and Years ago, when my daughter was 4 and I was about 7 mos preg with my son (who would have been 35 this summer), I was on my way to college in the usual @#$% car that my Ex made sure barely had gas, and was only marginally functional in order to get me to quit school without ACTUALLY forcing or demanding I quit.. Anyway, ran out of gas (gas gauge didn't work either).. about 6 miles from the next town.. I stood on the side of the road for about 5 min with my young daughter, hoping that someone (rural farm country, late 80's) would stop and at least check on us... NOPE... I walked a little over 2 Miles with the 4 year old piggy back before two goomers in an oilfield truck finally stopped, picked me up, drove us to town, filled the gas can with THEIR Money and then took me back out there and made sure that 78 Merc started before they continued on with what they were doing. I blessed those two raggedy guys for WEEKS afterwards, esp if I could tell friends or fam in front of the half, since I was very aware of why the money for transport and etc for my agenda was always missing, and there was plenty for his Truck and gas to go fishing and hunting.. (even went so far as to quit doing his carpentry work and spent weeks driving me around visibly pregnant trying to get me to work.. Applied all over, but the bump made me a no go..
Anyway.. side tracked enough.. Since then, I have ALWAYS heeded when I felt someone needed that help, to the chagrin of several of my close family.. But I have always felt better by taking them and getting food, water, ice, whatever.. I've been there, and felt that shame and was VERY grateful for the help... and also painfully aware of when others wouldn't have peed on me if I'd been in flames. HOWEVER... There were also times that I had the THOT to help and then clearly heard NOPE!!!! from Someone else...

Yep— but the $8.99 prime rib buffet is history, so we don’t go no more

Just think. Those same people touch door handles, gas pumps, ATM’s and everything else you touch in public. Lol

I won’t stay in a hotel under $100. Chances are higher its cleaner with less fluids thrown around. Plus the clientele is way better. Unless a sports team is staying there. Then it really sucks.

yup 70 is a good temperature for light work but if you get into a rhythm with a dew point of 60 your socks will be wet in about 40 minutes. These observations are from a heavy sweater.

:D:p:D:D:Do_O And it seems to hold true even if it's a coach pitch team... Hubs was quartered in one for the last couple days of his training that seemed to have every little league team in Iowa staying there for some tourney or other... and his room opened on the indoor pool.....
