I have tql blocked on the load board. Only for the simple reason that they post on the rgn board all their loads, 53ft long and 48k pounds...

It's probably been 8 months since I've ran one, but their incessant check calls though. WTF?

There's a couple brokers I've found that like to do that. One guy I worked with last year from open road transport. guy called me every hour asking where I was at... dude I'm 60 miles further than I was the last time u called. Like clockwork at the top of the hour that phone would be ringing. Finally told him u get 3 check calls a day. Morning, noon and afternoon. That's it! or Im taking this crap back to the shipper. The load had tracking app on it too!

They were decent broker but #### like that is really irritating.

I hauled a Tyson load as a company driver I can’t remember the broker but I did my morning check in told him I was empty . A hour later a lady calls and asks where I am I tell I unloaded . 15 minutes later a different guy calls I jokingly tell him I’m 8 hrs from receiver he freaks out then I tell him I’m empty.. not 10 minutes later another guy calls I tell him I’m at the hospital because I rolled truck and whole thing went up in flames .. needless to say I told boss never to give out my number or I’d quit they can call him ..

As rates continue to bore into the earth and fuel continues onward to alpha centari......

    They had like 128 drivers.

    450 employees

Can't imagine why they went belly up.

A private equity firm buying a trucking company is a sign that company won’t be around much longer. Last year a large hopper outfit in NE was purchased by one and now their new trucks and trailers are showing up plain white. I suspect plain trucks sell easier at auction.
