So doing a favor fora friend. He had a blowout and needed a pickup from Faberware In Fairfield live load at that. I says dude pots and pans and other kitchen stuff that weighs a ton. He says no really it is only 75bs. I says bro why you lying to me. He says I promise, I say ok because I'm going right by there anyway. Well you know the story never do anyone a favor. Showed up walk in shipping office give details and back into dock. I unhook from trailer pull up and before I set the brakes I her the plate hitting trailer. 1 minute later they are closing it up. I get the bills 85 lbs including palette 10 cases of plastic utensils. #### a favor can work out

 

Got the arm pump today from a kid standing on the side of the main road in a small town. Haven't got that in awhile..stuff like that helps a guy forget about the b.s. we constantly deal with and we can love trucking again ! Least for a couple minutes

I get that alot more in this truck... Or maybe it's because I get off the beaten path lot more.

Either way... I like a good excuse to blow my own horn. A kids request is at the top of acceptable reasons.

 

Absolutely ! Everytime I go thru those small towns, my eyes are scanning for kids on the side of the road and when I see them I watch and wait for the arm pump hoping to get it

Just reminds me of being a kid, I was always the one doing that
