@Back2truckin--previous Schneider driver here....

I did both dry van (to start) and intermodal with them (later).

Schneider's beginner driver training period--where you are out with a trainer in a truck together--is notoriously short.

I was out with my trainer for just over 4 days. That's right--just 4 days. That was/is not a typo.

If you feel you need more time with a trainer (and I would agree with that) -- then go with another company, instead.

YOU DO NOT want to start out doing intermodal duty at this point--with anybody.

Intermodal duty IS NOT a good place for rookies.

Go with one of the suggestions above, instead.

If for whatever reason you don't like what you've seen thus far--you can always ask Chinatown for a few more.

Thank you. I decided not to go with them because I felt this wouldnt help in my success.
