That’s one advantage with a set of trains. There’s really no blind side when you’re backing them. Moving the truck around steering them you can usually see where you’re going.jamespmack, cke, pete781693 and 6 others Thank this.

They will(or used to) sell you a rebuild kit of spools,o-rings and solenoids and I think in the late 90's the kits were $175 per rack for the B model and they claimed a 10% increase over stock braking.
If you want a complete new pacbrake set then yes they are not cheap but I am surprised at 5 figuresjamespmack, cke, PoleCrusher and 4 others Thank this. -
Apparently they just sell some of the parts but individually, no kit anymore and none of the parts the guy needs.
I think they're slowly squeezing out the old iron.jamespmack, cke, pete781693 and 5 others Thank this. -
Shouldn't we all be so blessed..?

It was ok. 21oz was just right!cke, CAXPT, singlescrewshaker and 4 others Thank this. -
Drove trucks with pacbrakes years ago, they work, but not as impressive to me as a regular Jacob can be….jamespmack, cke, CAXPT and 7 others Thank this. -
On a Cummins maybe. On a Cat a Jake did about the same as sticking your hat out the window. A Jake on a 3406B with a Blue Ox exhaust brake on there with it wouldn’t hold with a PacBrake on one.jamespmack, cke, CAXPT and 6 others Thank this.
