Hello, I have a 98 12.7 Detroit 60 series. I was pulling a few hills yesterday and got home and noticed my whole passenger side sprayed of oil, it even got some on the door and side fairings. Any ideas?

You said some, but that's more like the BP gulf spill!

Open the hood and take some pictures of the turbo feed, drain, exhaust and everything.
From the one picture you shared I can only assume that you have some kind of a leak coming from under the hood area, possibly oil... -
LameMule Thanks this.

Make sure your crancase vent (stink pipe) is clear and open, if not it will push it out the dipstick tube, and make a mess that looks JUST like that... or maybe turbo return line. Mine was stink pipe.

You are gonna have to open your hood and look around. Maybe even get under the truck. Could be coming from a dozen places

Lift the hood...................? JS.

Yeah there's about a hundred possibilities. Opening the hood might narrow it down to 5 or 6.
JoeyJunk, lester and Crude Truckin' Thank this. -
Why post it in Trucker Taxes and Truck Finance?
