Oh yeah. Round my way the cheapest "HOtel" is $80 per night and it's so nasty you wouldn't want to leave even a dead hooker there.

    Anything halfway decent is $140ish.

I highly prefer to have a full two days off in a r
If I could find a company (Indy area) that would let me park and stay in a RV at their terminal I'd do that.

I just turned my rig into an RV by building a shower and toilet under the bunk .
or you could get a van like the “Roadtrek”
It’s an RV that’s stealthy , it looks like a normal van . It doesn’t look like a motorhome .

when I was single I stayed at a marina on a houseboat .
The slip rent was the same price as a Rv park and a house boat with a blown engine was cheap.
i never took it out of the dock since the engine didn’t run , but I did have a jet ski tied up to the back .

And the ladies were much much more impressed with me living on a houseboat at a marina than in a big camper at an Rv park or in a single wide In a trailer park

For the last several years before he retired my father kept an RV at his terminal in Atlanta. They were even nice enough to allow him to hook up to their power. They had showers and washers available. While he was OTR, there were times when he would work close in to Atlanta and stayed in that RV. The only time the RV left was when he had to go do a sanitary dump. The closest place was about 45 minutes away. He also kept his pickup there as well.

I think you will be surprised what you can do. The key is will there be enough room?
