    I already know of Schneider’s bulk division but I want to see what else is out there. I have all of my endorsements and graduated from DriveCo in Gary. I’m not too picky on what I’d be hauling. Food or hazmat are both fine.

    I would bet every tanker company within a 100 mile radius of Gary will hire newbies. You are only scratching the surface with Schneider. If they say they don't online, apply anyway. Gone are the days of working your way into a good paying tanker job.

    Please someone prove me wrong.

    The best way is for you to visit tanker terminals in person. Ask to talk to the terminal manager. The companies need drivers and many that would never hire inexperienced before are now willing to train them to run tankers their way.

    Sometimes does hire right out of cdl school though.
    Submit an application and maybe luck out.

    Sometimes Bulkmatic will hire a new cdl school grad.
    Usually keep the new driver local for 6 mos. or so before doing long runs.

    @TheJanitor86 --

    Trimac is in Portage, Indiana....and sometimes hires new CDL grads.

    Find a Location – Trimac

    You have nothing to lose by trying with them.

    I understand they do both hazmat, and non.

    A Much better choice than ol' Big Orange....

    A few drivers on this forum went to Velocity Rail right out of cdl school.
    They made more than was advertised; one made $85G first year.
    Hard, steady work fueling locomotives.
    Must have a Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements. No Automatic Restriction.
    Railroad benefits.
