Dropped my trailer at customer in a door to get loaded. Like a good boy I pulled the tandems to the rear and left for a 10. Load is going to Kalifornia. When I came back at oh dark thirty to pick it up loaded, I hooked up and went to move the tandems to bridge law. They were already there. I admit I was totally confused. Have any of you ever had a yard goat do that?

Since when did they become goats?

More importantly... did it scale legal?

Yard Dogs, Yard Goats, Shags, I have heard a lot of names for them. Some not family friendly. It was legal, only 9900lbs in the box.

When he moved them, did he also lock them in place? Once had a hostler move them, and not lock them in place, 45K in the box, I was not amused when they slid to the back and locked in place, spent 40 minutes beating, cussing, crying, cajoling them to move and get back in the correct spot.

They were locked and loaded. All I had to do was scram. Trusted customer so I wasn't worried about them lying on the BOL. We all know how that goes. To be perfectly honest, I would have liked to have moved them myself, pretrip check, all the stuff. But hey. Cool.
