One of those cartons gallons of oil comes in, or anti-freeze, might hold up a little better than the amazon box. That is, if you're some place such a thing can be scavenged in clean enough condition to use.

I cannot confirm or deny I have a supply of that product, but I know the answer.

I also will never admit to knowing that it comes in other colors than black. Or so I've heard.

I'm trying to decide window or portable, I know the window are a lot more efficient. Do you have a couple good pics of the ledge you built? I am going to try to build one tomorrow after I get my truck back from the shop. Have to make a generator decision tomorrow also.

All I do is set a 4x4 on the door with the window rolled down and set the unit on that. No real ledge it just sits there and I roll the window up a bit. As you can see it does mess up the handle a bit but I have to replace drivers side already.

    Hey @Elroythekid ,

here are a couple pics to my plastic hose setup and you can see the 4x4 I set unit on.

If blows hair directly on me in sleeper. Today I remembered to bring it. Makes it so nice in sleeper.

This is what I have so far. Only got to use it less than a dozen times as I have been down for engine replacement. Right now have exhaust hose I toss out on ground. No fumes for me and I don’t really sleep at truck stops. I also sleep during day so nobody ever around me anyways. Got a fuel port in top of box. Open the side to exhaust heat and hose for now.

I don't have a pic of the ac/heat init for some reason but it was posted on here before. I removed the bunk ac unit under bed and cut holes for this unit.

I had to cut out the holes in plywood under bunk to run the duct. Going to see about tying at least one of them into the existing duct work left over from the bunk unit.

It worked well in the upper 80’s. Not sure what fuel consumption is and kind of don’t care. Cheaper than idling.

Will get better pics when I get back to truck this week.

The 2000 watt Predator at HF went from $550 to $629 in the past few weeks.

    Elroythekid Thanks this.
