I’m losing a lot of air from the air service manifold located between the frame rails. Air is leaking out the bottom at a high rate. See pictures for reference.

Time to replace it. I had to replace one on my 2014 T-680..
I can’t remember what it’s called..dump valve??
Wasn’t very expensive.Rideandrepair and jldilley Thank this. -
Just replace it... They are easy to do.
A possible temporary fix is to use a blunt object to bump the diaphragm in the bottom a few times... Sometimes it works, sometimes it dont.Rideandrepair, jldilley and Concorde Thank this. -
For reference the tractor is a 2012 Freightliner Cascadia

Before you replace the valve take both hoses off at the valve. There shouldn’t be any air coming out of the hoses. You could have a blown brake diaphragm if the leak is happening with your parking brakes released.
Jacoooooooo, tscottme, AModelCat and 2 others Thank this. -
It’s not happening with the brakes released.
Rideandrepair and kylefitzy Thank this. -
Leaking with brakes released, or when applying service brakes?
