After reading your clarification, The Three Stooges show I enjoyed as a child,

Kind of reminds me of the “Shut up Stupid” I heard people calling each other years ago on the CB multiple times a day. I never heard it used face to face in a truck stop. Maybe in a bar after a few cold ones, but never in a truck stop.
