I wouldn't. You will break #### on this little engine. I have run high horse units before. They never last as long as lower power units.

like others have said, the lack of filters will almost always leave tiny metal shavings. I do my diffs every 150k trans usually 150-300k being that they’re old.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -

Besides as i said cummins is cursed in our family. Nothing ever good comes from owning a cummins is a family saying lol...honestly though if i could find a pre emissions MP10 titan ive heard nothing but good things about those.....as for fuel costs trust me i know but by the same token i spent over 70k on emissions repairs my first year with a paccar. Don’t pay extra for the 485 program it’s the same torque as the 455 and only really provides extra power up higher in the rpm range.. only real difference we found was poorer fuel mileage, on the coq which is very long pull it was maybe 1/4 mile difference by the time we topped the hill..
