This came off my old farm truck. I would like to buy a new one since this is obviously beyond repair and sprays oil like a car wash. Without the proper term I can’t look it up to order another. I came off a Detroit series 60, 2007 model engine. Any help is appreciated B05A4CFC-B10A-4E50-ADD0-AC27DB4C10D8.jpeg 3070648C-821F-4AD5-95F2-EE62FBD75F8A.jpeg 63AF938E-D2D9-433A-B008-36236702E809.jpeg

Where’d it come from? Looks like a fuel water separator. Maybe some type of oil gimmick. Maybe it’s not needed, maybe just need a filter instead. I’ve never seen anything like that. Post a picture of the engine location of the mystery part. Somebody will be able to help figure it out.

That is an aftermarket center fuse oil filter. Nothing wrong with that but it looks pretty rough.
I would cap off the lines at the engine and through all that in the trash.
In my opinion your larger concerns are probably how often to change oil by years not mileage. Some farm trucks only run 2 - 4,000 miles per year. They do that in short periods of time once or twice a year. Condensation is a concern but when these trucks run they run hard and H2O cooks out pretty quick.
There are recommended service intervals that dealers tell us we must do. If you are looking at a new car on the lot that is 2 years old has anyone ever though about that? What is the recommendation? 7500 miles or 6 months possibly. Did they change the oil? You buy that car and warranty will be denied if you do not have proper service information.
If you really want the higher level of filtration I would go with a triple 7 spin on bypass filter,
