I did not point you point specifically.
My point is you can't believe anything anybody posts on the internet, that goes for everybody. -
My expenses include my pay and a profit margin. The 10k would be extra icing on top of the icing on the cake.
If you get $1500 on a 400 mile run where I get $2800 on the same run, which is more savvy? No amount of penny pinching is going to bring your net to mine.Evil_E, Midwest Trucker and Big Road Skateboard Thank this. -
You going to run these trucks with drivers for $1.30-$1.40 a mile?Dirk Diggler and Midwest Trucker Thank this.

What skin is it off of your nose?exhausted379 Thanks this.

Let's see your net.
Mine was $162K after taxes. -
It’s a yes or no question, Bob.

About 74k to myself after tax. About 8k to the business, but the business put 35k down on the 2022 389, 15k down on a new Utility combo, 90k out of pocket on a 40x80 fully finished and equipped shop. On 91243 miles. But we can both agree 2021 was a banner year.

No real O/O is going to show you his books. I just got asked today by a competitor hauling out of the same place what I charge. Nice try. I kept lips closed. If your leased on who cares you are just an employee. Leased on has no business to speak of. I have no reason to doubt or get upset at your operating costs. None of my business.Last edited: Jul 29, 2022
