Why do you always think that just because you have trouble finding drivers that everyone else is in the same position?

 

I'd keep that a cash deal anyway.

 

I'm leased onto a company with my own truck,trailer, and LLC so I'm an employee with no business to speak of?

Most of you heavy hitting "independents" wouldn't dare to show your numbers on here for the simple fact... You wouldn't be able to tell fairy tales anymore about your big numbers...

 

Because nearly everyone else is in the same position. The only people who say they aren’t, have not tried or successfully hired drivers. I’m talking ones with experience, clean records, want to work, take care of the equipment types.

I believe I read somewhere that Daves new truck has been sitting for months without a driver. It’s not easy and if it was there would be many more small fleets out there. What are the biggest reasons we all hear a small fleet went under? 1. Driver tore my stuff up. 2. Couldn’t afford to run the truck plus pay the driver. 3. Couldn’t find drivers / truck sat. Or, a combination of them all.

6 weeks actually. Driver 1 bit the dust in his final week of qualifying.

Candidate #2 seems moar promising.

The other is a team. So I suppose they are candidates 3 and 4.

And there's moar candidates, cause now I'm posted with Landstarve recruiting.

Perhaps you should also try them. Not that they want clean cut types.
