2007 volvo engine brake, engine shuts down

    2007 volvo, deleted def.
    If I use the engine break, truck will just idle and stop responding to the accelerator pedal while driving. Its acting like all its doing is idling until i come to a stop, then the engine will shut down. No check engine lights, no codes. Sometimes it wont happen for a couple times i use the engine brake, but 99% it will cause the accelerator ped to stop responding. It will start right up again, and as long as i dont use the engine brake it won't do it.
    Any ideas?

    Look for any of signal wires that pass thru the firewall that can have green corr. on the plugs and clean up all of them?
