    Penske does not lease for otr long distance. The lease is for local radius for sleeper cab truck.

    The trucking companies are getting away with it. Running the trucks long distance...when they are supposed to stay local or closer to the penske location.

    If you are in a penske truck, read the contract! Or sticker inside the cab door. Local, short distance...mileage #.

    There are companies in every city running a scam. Chicago trucking bs company. They are criminals in every city, state, immigrants from Europe, Russia, everywhere. They will throw in a lease truck. You the driver are responsible!

    Then they will come to your city and take over!! Stop them before its too late!

    Having been involved with long term lease trucks from Rollins years ago I'd bet this isn't a penske issue but more a case of the leasee running the piss out of the truck and not getting it to the home branch for maintenance.
    I regularly see Ryder units that look ratty also.
    In the end the lessee is going to get a fat bill when the lease is up .

    drove their straight trucks yrs ago and also UPS truck leasing, which I think bought them.
