Montana residents determined to continue fight against truck stop

They drag all that crap up, but the reality is much simpler to my mind. All those folks have gotten off at the Rocker exit before, and know what a cluster it sometimes is with all the truck traffic. And they can't stand the thought of having to wait 20 or 30 seconds on traffic at what was previously their own little private interchange.

Mind you, as @God prefers Diesels pointed out, I wouldn't want that in my front yard, either!

What are their reasons for protesting against building the new Truck stop?

 

It's in the original article. Basically Truckers are filthy pigs who will bring in the hookers and blow and rampant pestilence and Yada, Yada, Yada...

Plus we stink and make noise.

 

Old farts that need something to piss and moan about.

 

No CDL holder should ever again make a delivery to this town being they hate us so much.

 

And then there's the trucks as well.

 

Truckstop parking lots often resemble the ridiculously trashy homeless areas outside some of these major cities.

I don't blame em for not wantin piss jugs and plastic bags of sheet all over.

I stop there for fuel when i have to, but don't sleep there if i can avoid it.
