I’ve been to 3 mechanics, one of them is a dealer (although an amateur ones on a newly opened shop didn’t do the job). None of them say a thing about clutch air line leaking. (And if it leaks it does while driving).
Now I got pumped up about this idea “What if?”. I’ll replace the line and see where it’ll take me.
2016 Volvo with electronically controlled air dryer and governor. Piece of crap!

Find a private shop that works on Volvos (if your warranty expired).
You'll get a better service and more exact diagnostics than throwing parts at a problem at a dealer.Jacoooooooo, D.Tibbitt and Forever237 Thank this. -
I marked where your governor would’ve been, so that’s right, you don’t have one where most Volvos do. Check that fan clutch line and if it’s not it take it to a Volvo (not a dealer) mechanic.86scotty, Another Canadian driver and Forever237 Thank this. -
I got the same ####.2017 780.Electronically controlled air dryer. There is no governor. Was leaking a lot with druerr purging all the time.Suspect truck sat for a long time. After I replaced all four air bags it has almost gotten normal.Truck was ex.FFE .
