or if there is a way for you to remove the cushion and send me a pic of leveling valve under they should be a tension spring from the seat frame to valve that control the ability to drop down when no weight.062 Thanks this.

I looked at the seat while waiting to get unloaded.
On the left side of the drivers seat, there are two controls that are about 4 inches long aprox. They are both rocker type controls. The one in the front is a simple up or down switch. If I switch/click it to the down position, it deflates all the air out & it goes completely to the floor. If I flip it to the up position, it inflates back to the original position & responds as noted in the OP.
The control next to it, is the normal inflate or deflate spring loaded rocker switch. It does not change the original problem.
There are 4 small 1 - 2 inch spring loaded rocker switches that control the 4 lumbar air sacks.
I brought home the owners manual this weekend to see if I can find the resolution in there.... although I previously skimmed through the book. I'm not sure its in there but, I'll report back. I'll still take any relevant suggestions.
Thanks to all who have responded so far.Siinman and bryan21384 Thank this. -
This "feature" is making me crazy! I just got switched to a 2019 760 yesterday, and it's "equipped" with this "feature." I've had it before, so I know that I literally never get used to it! I hate it very much! Gah, somebody please help!
These are all the control options I seem to have:
Air controls on driver's seat -
Oh, and the rocker button to add or remove air only has two options: "Add" or "Remove." There is no type of neutral or locked position.
I have NO idea what the slider lever is for, but it isn't a lock. -
I've still never found a resolution to it.
CoveringBases Thanks this. -

The slide lever is for the resistance of the "bounce" you get from the air ride. One direction allows the seat to freely move up and down without resistance. The other direction allows you to adjust the amount of "bounce" you get, and make the seats up and down motion stiffer.
I'm still trying to figure out how to make the seat lower without taking all the air out. I don't like riding on the floor. So if any of y'all figure this out, PLEASE let us know! -
Oh, I forgot to mention... I just acquired a 2024 Volvo VNL 860 Globetrotter Edition. Nice truck, awesome storage and very nice diner style table and seats! But that drivers seat would be the bee's knees, IF I could figure out how to ride lower. I feel too tall even at its lowest position and it drives me nuts!

You can lower and raise it with how much air you put in it. That is the only way I know to change the height.Doc W Thanks this.
