Thing I liked about Golfing was "no special license or permit needed" unlike Trucking or Welding or Mechanic or Ice, Ice Baby Skating Rink Provocateur.
Golf was much more interesting when one hit the ball in random directions as well "playing the holes" in no certain order, regardless of "skill" level.

Addendum: Somewhen I have pics of the golf course on JHAB (John Hay Air Base) in Baguio the PI. Guarontee it would be trip for any of you to play it. The thing is laid out hilltop to hilltop and the base roads run between down in the valley between.
