Crop Duster Nearly hits JB Hunt

Angles can be deceiving. I'd bet that was not as close as it appeared to be, due to the angle the video was taken from.

 

Yes they can but not in this one. That plane was actually lower then the roof of the tractor and it passed within ten feet infront of that truck.

Sometimes crop dusters have a hard time and do not pay attention to wind directions etc while they are getting loaded with chem. They pull out and go to take off only to find that they have a tail wind rather then a head wind. This makes for some scary take offs when heavily loaded down.


I had one cross right infront of me when I was driving a dump along side an airport locally. He pulled up off the runway before he had enough lift to get over the road safely and his wheels were right infront of my windshield as he crossed the road only 10 infront of me. He dang near went down because of it because he paniced when he seen me and pulled up too hard and almost stalled it.

I was hard on the brakes when it happened.

 

He was almost famous.Had he hit the semi...

Yep, down now.
I will say, though, having taken lots of footage from inside and outside aircraft, that an earlier post is usually the case. It can easily look a LOT closer than it really was. I can't say anything in this case, not having seen it.

I'm sure TMZ isn't going to keep videos up that long.
