I'm looking at getting a 2000 KW T800 with a C12 turned up. It currently has a multi-torque file in it set at 355/410 hp 1350/1550 torque with a 10 speed manual. It's used as a farm truck to pull grain, fertilizer, etc. Most people have recommended that we install a 430 hp/1650 torque file. I've also heard of others installing a RV file of 455 hp or 505 hp with only 1550 torque. What would y'all recommend and have you had any experience with running one? Thanks in advance!

Id get a bigger truck honestly. If you need that much torque you can get something with a 455/1650 out of the box and dont need to pay for all the extra to uprate one. Uprateing an older engine like that that much is a good way to need a rebuild in a hurry.
355/1350 with a 10 speed is going to be an absolute pig.Another Canadian driver, Bean Jr. and High Stepping Thank this. -
I don't know about the RV tune. RV's usually only run a couple thousand miles a year at most and rarely ever work too hard. Asking that engine to run at that power level all day, every day at max weight is going to be harder on it for sure.

RV file is lower torque, 1550. Get the 430/1650.
