No better feeling than pulling the truck in to the house and hearing the PSSHHHHHH from the air brake knobs being pulled.. Home sweet home.

 

Had my dinner plans ruined yesterday. Got pulled over on 299 by a CHP Going the opposite way. He got in my lane and headed right at me, Silly me I thought he wanted to play chicken. I stop he pulls beside me and says road is closed park where you are. I says right here in the lane he says yep. He gets behind me and blocks both lanes. I'm thinking WTF then I see smoke ahead great a forest fire. He walks up and tells me a truck smacked the wall right by the Hells Angels clubhouse and BBQed itself. Sat there for 5 freakin hrs waiting for all the firefighter equipment to get access and of course for local engine comp to put out the truck. So instead of going out to dinner with Lorrie and her aunt I got to toss couple dogs into the air fryer.

 

3100 miles in 5 days. Im flat wore the f out. I havent ran that hard since getting whipped by the puppet masters at swift

 

I'm tarping down in mobile Alabama. Almost done. I'm back in the cab getting cool and rehydrating. It's overcast and cool 82'F, but a 100% humidity.
