So.... after checking over 20 places, RV & boat storage, wrecker and towing co., truck and trailer repair places, trucking companies, etc, and visiting over a dozen of them, was about giving up when I found this wonderful huge storage lot... no picture...
Place is only 18 mins from here... fenced and gated, accessed with electronic card...
And owner agreed to rent me a great parking spot with lots of room for half the price others charge...
Then, she gave me the contract agreement... 11 freakin pages... all in legal terms, lots of CAPITAL letters....
Took me a while to decipher those terms... some had to translate to my first language, Portuguese... And according to my understanding, the storage contract says occupant must not store property in its storage unit having a combined value in excess of $3,000.00 otherwise show proof of insurance for 100% of the full replacement value of the property stored.
Storage has no liability on any damage, theft or whatever may happen to occupant's property while stored in there.
I didn't see any surveillance camera, the owner doesn't go there constantly and didn't see any other storage employee monitoring the place as well.
There's a total of 32 clauses in the contract and 2 addendums which all must be signed showing agreement.
The "No Bailment", the "Limitation of Value", the "Owner's Lien Rights" over the occupant's properties stored in there, the "Occupant's Liability", the "Waiver/Enforceability", the "Waiver of Jury Trial", the "Time to Bring to Suit", among several other clauses that occupant must sign, made me think that might not be the best storage for my vehicle and for the company's truck...
Sent the whole contract to the company and asked them to review it carefully.... they may not agree with it... and I wouldn't leave my vehicle unattended there for more than a week...
Need weekly parking in/near Chattanooga, TN

I’ve been looking too. I currently park at a grocery store. Been parking there for a long time. Just me an another guy. But now it has gradually expanded to where there are 30-40 trucks parked there now. It’s gotten bad to where people are parking their personal vehicles over there to “Reserve” themselves a spot! Which is ######## in my opinion. There are signs that say “No Truck Parking” and all the subject to tow stuff. And now there are about 10 homeless people living in their cars that park with us. So I know it’s a matter of time before Yates is in there dragging us all away!
I’ve seen the KingPin parking like y’all have said, online. There is also a sign over by Brainerd drag strip for United Truck Parking. There are a few trailers there, but nothing road worthy. Gates wide open. And it appears that it is mostly used as a shooting range. At least that’s the feeling I got when I drove my pickup in there to look around and saw all the targets.
I figured I’d pay kingpin $15 for one night of parking so I can go scope out the area. So today I went thru the reservation process online, hit submit, and got another page saying the Chattanooga lot is full. They will let me know when a spot becomes available. So I went driving around looking. I couldn’t find nothing with truck parking directly around the airport. BUT I did find something interesting on Polymer Dr. Right behind the Cintas building there is a MASSIVE gravel lot with various company trailers there. Of course the Swift trailers are crooked in there spots. And adjacent to that lot is the end of the airport runway. But it’s not fenced, gated, lighted, nothing. Not even a sign. So I’m currently calling around trying to find out who owns that property.
There is secure truck parking just past the Harley dealer on Lee highway. It looks like a small lot. But I still called the guy. He told me that he’s all full, can’t take another truck and has a waiting list.
Now I’m curious. Is there that much of a demand for secure, pay to park, truck parking? I understand the peace of mind knowing your truck will still be there when you get back. So I guess that could be worth the $150 a month or so that is charged. But if the demand is that great, I might try to find a 20 or 30 acre parcel to develop into a secure truck parking area within the Chattanooga vicinity.Rocks Thanks this. -

I'm also looking for a secure lot for one truck, going back over the road, and would really like to leave my personal vehicle and swap out and come home for my 34. Something along 75 from say.. Adairsville to Chattanooga (switch to 24w) something even as far north as jasper /kimbal, thanks!

Go to 4311 Jersey Pike! Tell ‘em Stevens Logistics sent you! I rented from them for yearssss! I’m about to go back! They’re Awesome people! It was $150 per space before I left! I’m not sure if they have increased since then! If anyone ever parks in your spot which is very rare just let them know! They don’t play lol

I was approached today by a man who has a secure lot not far off from Rossville Blvd for truck parking. He’s said there is room for maybe 30 trucks. It’s the Glen Ellis Trucking terminal right near I-24. He said $125 a month. If anyone is interested, pm me and I’ll forward his phone number.
