(((((((((((desylverwyrm)))))))))) Welcome to the forum, I am sorry you found us the way you did. I hate to say it but it might be a bit of a long road til hubby finds a company that yall will be happy with. But you have to remember, there is always gonna be something with every company that does not suit your needs. Just have to figure out what things you can deal with as a family with a company and still be happy.

I and I am sure many others are here for you to talk to. Believe me we understand.
When my hubby started truckin we had 3 little ones too.....

remember what i said about the net? yeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaah...... thats what happened. lol... he's in phase 2 now. Confirmed, $0.12 a truck mile and no home time yet... found out he was being charged $419 a month for ######### "limited health benefits" that we can't even use because we aren't Utah residents. figure that one out. Note for anyone considering CR England... in any such direction... if you do go with them, save your money and send it home for your wife to buy REAL insurance with, you pay less in the short run as well as in the long run.

If he comes home one day and starts talking about buying or a lease purchase of a truck through the company, bash him upside the head and send him here. We will talk him out of it for you.

Amen to that! Don't let me get started on that subject! :biggrin_25512:

lmao... his friend he got into it, who's family had PLENTY of time to make back up plans and contingencies, is a Mason buddy of his, and has already vowed to take him aside asap for the discussion about the lease option.... and a whole discussion about the way he went about this whole ordeal...

Didn't do a company lease purchase, doin' this all on our own. He's trying to build a small fleet and I have had to endure the "I wanna buy ANOTHER truck" affliction. Oh the stories I could tell! :biggrin_2554:

Ok, so, I finally pulled a few things out of him. They promised him work... they promised him training... they told the judge from family support he was guaranteed a job.... what they failed to mention to him and the judge... was that he would only have a job straight out of training IF he did the lease option. Company has a waiting list for company drivers, a shorter one for second seat, and a welcome mat out to pull in lease / owner opp drivers. :biggrin_2556:

Sounds like a lawsuit just waiting to happen.... :biggrin_25523:

    ... DOH!

Stupidity abounds with this company. His first phase trainer failed to inform him that he needed to transfer his license to his home state. So... they sent him home on an emergency "GET YOUR LICENSE TRANSFERED!" trip... he stayed for a week and just went back out again about 10 hours ago.

He's talking about finishing his training... and getting a dedicated run, or leaving the company all together (I'm rootin for this one.) and seeking employment at a local company.
