The gauges all looked good, cruiser. But since this just happened suddenly, I'm not taking any chances.
I searched a few pages for other posts, now I'll do a more thorough search.
Thanks again , all. I'll try the codes tomorrow, if the weather conditions are not too bad.
What is the Stop Engine dashboard warning light on a '94 8100? Mine comes on an off

Ok - the only sensor codes I could get were 3 red (stop engine light) then two red (stop engine light) I assume this to be a 32? No yellow lights. Getting information overload trying to figure out the meaning of this code, if it is a code.

So far : I've increased coolant level, checked rad. sensor and overflow coolant sensor. Will soon change coolant in-line filter, and look to clean and lube the injector harness. Still don't know about the flash code or Stop Engine light. All guages and fluids are good. Going to try to find a crankcase filter on this Detroit, and clean it. Will keep updating.....

Code 32 is actually the ECM detecting a fault in either the STOP engine light circuit, or the CHECK(sometimes it is WARN) engine light circuit. If everything is wired correctly, at key on both the STOP(red) and CHECK(yellow) warning lights should come on for a bulb check, and then go out. If the STOP engine light is coming on at higher rpms or speeds I would guess the wires are shaking loose somewhere. Hard to say where since this is transplant. Do you get both lights coming on at key on?
kwehner Thanks this. -
Well, heavyd, I used to, but since this problem occurred, only the Stop Engine light (and the low air light, when necessary) come on. Then again, maybe I have a Warn Engine bulb failure as well. Round and round we go, wouldn't be so bad except the weather is atrocious and the truck is outside in it!

Yep, could be just a bulb.

At best, That sounds like a collany level sensor. At worst, the engine is working too hard to turn the trans evenly. I'd start at the coolant temp sensor, then see if I have a coolant leak at the trans cooler.
