Many of us get more than $.45 a mile as a company driver without paying for fuel and lease payments . We aren't limited to 500 miles a day and we aren't stuck in the truck 24/7 .
Cr england should be shutting it's schools

I just can't understand why someone who claims to have it so good in the trucking industry goes around and bashes every thread with so much negativity like trucking is the worst thing ever. How the hell can anyone tell you about a company that they have never worked for? Just something I don't understand but maybe it's just me.
intexas66 Thanks this. -
Yep, and you continue to prove that. Seems to me like you have nothing better to do with your time but to post garbage like this bash and flame someone for giving some positive feed back about the company they work for.
"Grow a skin"?? Maybe you need to get some thicker skin, bud. If my positive outlook on England is too much for you to bear, then move on.
[quoteWell, since your the one running 3800 miles for 500 bucks ...[/quote]
As I stated before, that was on a short week. Freight is kinda slow this time of year and 'case you havent noticed, we are in bit of a recession.
None of your concern, man.
Yep...... its stamped all over your pathetic replies.
Me?? I already told you once, I have no use for people like you.
Yeah, theres problems with England as well as other companies. Its nothin new and it will probly never change. The only thing I'm concerned with is whether or not I get paid.
Oh, its there, you among others would rather argue than take it for what its worth.
LOL......LOL....
You wish.
Well, I do have atleast 2-3 hours a day to post. I dont spend 24hrs a day, 7 days a week drivin nonstop.
We dont hold down parkin spots at truckstops... or rest areas. Aint got time for that.
And I see you have 11 years under your belt that tells me you probly work for one of them higher payin companies for your "extremely more" experience than we have. Maybe someday, we'll be able to do that.
Again, as we gain experience, we'll someday get the taste of "the good life" as you have. -
Well, when you get along in your fleece and the guys in the truck stops with CRE are staying busy and you are told, "nothing in your area, things are slow!" Then slowly start starving you out........ Remember this thread.
Keep it book marked. -
Funny how your user name's been showin' "online" (little green dot) all day for the past 3 business days ... lookin' more and more like you work in an "office" ...

I bet this guy ain't no "driver" ... and it will come out soon enough ...
-
just because my phone and my computer are "logged" in all the time doesn't mean I'm constantly lookin at this website .
You just keep thinkin that, . The more and more you keep posting this nonsense keeps on unveiling your true colors as a trouble maker.
I'm done with this thread.Last edited by a moderator: Feb 3, 2010

I worked for CR England back in 2003 to the fall of 2004...and like a smart driver, got out as soon as my year was up. This is a news story of an accident that a CR England truck was involved in. John Honn was my trainer back in August 2003...during this accident, his student was driving. The student was driving in adverse weather conditions, which no rookie student should drive in without a trainer being awake and alert...but alas, the trainer was asleep in the bunk the whole time..and him and his student were both killed.

I heard from an England driver that I came across that his wrecked truck was still in the West Valley yard. -
Okay..now just to be fair... the article said there were 4 to 5 big trucking rigs that were also involved in the pile up... I don't think they were all CR England trucks.. and before you start I am certain they were't all swift, werner or whatever bad driver company...
Now, that being said I do have a question....
Since, Crengland, swift, werner and so on are notorious for bad training and bad drivers.. Can driving for one of them to get your training and experience actually be a liability?
What I mean is let say two drivers who have 1 1/2 years experience, they graduted from cdl school at the same time, and hit the road with a trainer the same time and you get th idea... all things are pretty equal... (no tickets, dui's, felonies, etc)
Driver A went to a private school then trained and drove for a small to mid size carrier.
Driver B went to CREngland for schooling, training and experience..
Now, here they both are 1 1/2 years later both applying for the same position.
Does Drive A have an advantage over Driver B? or would it not matter where you were trained and got your experience? Or, Does Driver B have the advantage? -
I'd hire driver A before I would even consider a driver trained be CR England or any of the other bottom feeders for that matter. The reason is, You're never gonna be sure with an England or other bottom feeder trained driver that they are going to be able to do the work in a satisfactory manner. The odds are in favor of the driver being trained by a smaller carrier that has a higher percentage of risk associated with each of their drivers that the training will be more comprehensive.

Geez , just when Cornelius starts making posts confirming he is in the right forum , Report Bad Company Here , he's through .
90 cents a mile is to the truck , not to be split with the drivers . All experienced O/O's know the operating costs of this truck will be more than 56 cents a mile , leaving less than 34 cents for the drivers to split .
They are making less , not more money .
As to his comment about my pay due to experience , 2 years OTR plus being able to qualify for hazmat is all my carrier requires . Lately with all the applications they have a clean MVR and no criminal record re now necessary to be considered .
