I haven’t heard anything the class hasn’t. I know he initially said he wanted to get a feel for the company before starting a new thread. Maybe he went back to that.

I know I’ve been busier then a cat covering up ####. I took the first half of the month off. I’ve done 5700 miles since last Monday, with another 1200 planed through mid day Sunday. All but 1700 of that has been preloaded oversize or power only oversize. I’ve thrown 5 straps and zero tarps since I left the house. I’ll take it.

Don't be silly, only US Marshalls have jurisdiction.

Well as they say, don’t count your chickens before they hatch. My 1100 mile trip to Georgia canceled due to the load not being ready until Next week. So they scrambled and I dropped that trailer at the customer, bobtailed 25 miles to the yard, grabbed a loaded trailer and delivered it 12 miles away. Dropped that trailer back at the yard and headed for Wichita. Now I get to take this goofy looking thing on a 320 mile round trip tour of south east Kansas. So I traded 1100 miles for about 700 and a reset. FB08A434-03C5-4B2C-B846-128443BAB0BF.jpeg
It doesn’t look like much but it’s 14’ or so wide and 15’ tall. All two lane in Kansas with no escort but it’s pretty much gravy.

I don’t know anything about flatbedding and I know even less about oversize, but I do know a little about south east Kansas. And I’m not trying to sound like a know it all or a wise ### but there’s a bunch of road construction down there that isn’t on Google maps or anything, all of a sudden “surprise” it’s one lane type crap with concrete barriers, a make shift traffic light alternating which direction goes and signs up saying “11 wide maximum”. I’ve seen you post a bunch and I know you know what you’re doing, just giving you a friendly heads up. If you’re goin anywhere near that Coffeyville, Chetopa area, it’s jacked up. And DOT watches the construction speed limit like a hawk.

Thank you. I’ve got a lot of compliments over the last few years on this truck. Unfortunately with over 500k miles it is slated for replacement, even though it’s one of the most reliable trucks in the fleet. The next truck is going to be a T880, basically a 680 with a different hood. Yuck.
