the Flying J in Benton Harbor, MI (exit 30 on i94) now has a big sign on their fence saying they now accept comdata. it also says "WE ARENT PICKY!" rofl.
They also have a sign on the shop that says its now a Bosselman shop...so...Is this a Flying J company wide thing, or is this location no longer owned by Flying J?
If its a Flying J thing, i completely disagree with the "we arent picky!" sign. Cause if they werent picky they would have been accepting it this whole time. Come on!
Benton Harbor Flying J takes comdata? WTF?

I stopped at the j in OKC and did not have enough cash so I had to go to the ATM.
Told the clerk it would have been easier to have used the comdata card across the street.
Comment was something like, We are not taking it yet.
Made me wonder if they will start.
Then I see this. -
If pilot takes it I bet the J will take it soon

The Flying J in Ft. Chiswell, VA (I-81 exit 80) has a Bosselmans garage. I think they accept comdata there too. Also the Flying J in Northeast, MD (I-95 exit 100) takes comdata. And in Maine on I-95 exit 2 and exit 132 are Irving truck stops affiliated with the J, they will take comdata and scan your J card for points when you fuel.

All of the Flying J's in the northwest have always taken Comdata as they were part of the Broadway system to start with. Now with Pilot having control they may all go that way.
-
Flying J is now owned by Pilot........
-
I heard those rumors a while back. I didn't know if it was true or not.
-
It is true.
Pilot bought Flying J...........everything except franchise stores and the refineries in Utah, Wyoming and California. Flying J sold the oil pipeline in Texas and the California refinery. -
I hope Pilot coffee replaces Flying J coffee.
-
the J in Fargo also has the name of the shop changed to Boss Shops now too.
