Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

Heck I knew it was Monday when I posted this morning and I still think its Sunday. Sometimes I give amazingly dumb a run for its money.

 

There’s some good news on the horizon. California just made sure fast food employees get $22 an hour.

so less drivers in trucks = less trucks.


You brokers better pucker up.



Oh wait that means lots of people out of jobs and more drivers.


Either way someone needs to bend over and someone needs to get the chapstick.

But but but.. paying the Maccas employees 22 an hour is going to make them happier! They'll always be smiling at the register, your order won't get screwed up, the food will taste better because it was made with joyous hearts!

It won't raise the cost of the burger or have humans replaced by kiosks at the counter! That's just negative vibes, man!

 

Well, if you think about it, you're probably not too far off.
Think about what you pay now, vs what the average starting pay per hour is.

I really wish that any new politician running for any office, as low as school board, would have to take a mandatory class called "How stuff works".

@Dave_in_AZ and @blairandgretchen would be responsible for the curriculum.

 

That should be required for anyone that votes in a state or federal election.

They used to call it American History in high school, and it required you pass to graduate.
