I’m usually looking at that silly little roll up door and the cow bell too. I generally get a good look at the front of them when I pull off the pumps though.

@Cattleman84 these are incredible. I mean these are like true works of art. The wallets are great in their own right, but that belt of @D.Tibbitt is bad ###!
tramm01, Last Call, Cattleman84 and 5 others Thank this. -
That is finest kind Mister. That should be reserved for keeping crispy mint fresh large denomination ones in. Be disrespectful to put filthy ol’ pocket cash in that.Cattleman84, cke, Oxbow and 2 others Thank this.

I do my own patterns and hand cut all my own pieces from sides or whole skins. I started in earnest this past winter... I had done a very tiny amount of repair work on tack and saddlry tack previously, but that was mostly just a cowboy patching up his equipment to keep it functional.
The belt I made for @D.Tibbitt was my very first serious attempt at tooling, it was also the one and only belt that I will ever saddle stitch by hand without charging a premium. Over 8 hours of working needles and pulling thread, all 27 feet of thread to sew that belt. I had bliaters and cut hamds for weeks after that project. I have since invested in a sewing machine.
This is my personal belt and a few other pieces I've done since...

I really appreciate the compliment... But I'm not so sure I would call them works of art. I'm still learning, via YouTube and trial & error... Lol

You’re welcome and oh I absolutely would consider them works of art. I have so many questions. How long have you been doing this? How long does it take to make a belt? And most importantly, are you taking orders?

Started this past winter, a fully tooled belt takes anywhere from 6 to 15 hours (plus dry and cure time for glue, die, oil antique, and finsh) depending on tooling design. And yes I take orders... PM me for details.tramm01, motocross25, JolliRoger and 4 others Thank this.

That's a sharp belt there @D.Tibbitt .. I appreciate your conformation on the quality..
There's no good way to say it it with out sounding like a smart a%% so nobody take it wrong ..
But I wasn't worried about the quality of work @Cattleman84 does...
What sucks is now I seen your belt .. and kinda want 1 too .... but untill I get back to my bench mark weight goal I'am holding off on that idea -
The other thing I would pay a premium for would be a leather wrapped shifter... I haven't decided if I want it to just be the stick or the boot also....I'am .open for input from anybody on that idea ...Hint ....Hint
tramm01, cke, pete781693 and 4 others Thank this.
