    Yes the idea is to lift the wires over the points they could get snagged on. Even with those we had one set of 4 communication cables that were around 15’8 and stretched tight. It took a few minutes and a manual lifting pole to get past those.

    I wouldn’t slide any wires . The rule I go by is .If they touch anything it needs to be lifted. It’s not worth it
    Some of the bucket truck guys don’t want to do their job and will try to get you to slide them unless you tell them that

    Is that a 2 axle jodog?

    and if it is, how well does it split the weight across all 4 axles and the steer?
