West bound Tappan Z toll?

That toll has always been coming back out on the west. When I use to pay cash it was like $13.50. Now with a name change Mario Cuomo and new bridge it might be more plus it's all electronic now so they will mail it to you unless you have Ezpass

 

There is no toll west 287/north 87 over the tappan zee bridge. There is a toll at spring valley which is approximately $7

 

It’s a little further up then the tap but it’s like $8-10, if I’m coming out of CT I just ride 84-87 and not deal with as many headaches, there’s one on 87south too headed for the cork screw, I believe 95th street is the only way down without a toll in NY

 

For those saying that there is no toll, what about this?

I haven't crossed the Tappen Zee in 10 years, so I really don't know, but it looks by that article that there is now a toll on the bridge.

 

There is no toll going westbound/northbound on the tappan zee bridge.

 

Might be west nyack maybe? I live near Springfield MA and 90% of the time I head to Albany and make a turn, it’s now a cheaper toll then whatever they raised the tap (or what ever ######## politician it’s named for now) and I can easily get a half mpg better if not more, never mind dealing with CT, it’s 14 miles longer
