Rick & Roadkill I appreciate your legal advice on the deal of a contract. If I would've known it was going to turn into to a bash session God knows I would've put more thought into it. I'm new to this forum & probably never use it again. Feel free to spend $100-$200 an hour to learn the ways of our corrupt government. As for college and the CDL Mill. I'm only 34 yrs. old & lost my virginity just a few years ago so still maturing. Back in 1994 went to college for Computer Science in my 3rd year dropped out because me & my father could no longer afford it. So got a job as a Electronic Tech. They sent me back to school but for Electrical Engineering after a year of that I got laid off then off to the CDL Mill I went. Got a job at Swifty Trans. & couldn't imagine living behind the steering wheel the rest of my life hoping for a penny raise a year. So bought me a truck & here I sit today paying everyone else to do the dirty work. If you've seen my other posts I'm looking to drive for an O/O for 6-12 months only. Now why would I want to do that well work is slow & I could tell 1 of my drivers to get lost but don't want to do that. It would only be temporary for I'm doing it to help pay for me & my son's Turbine Jets. Instead of me screwing my drivers for me to live in more luxury not a problem for me to go out & get my hands more dirty. Now back to building 1 of my son's Christmas gifts.

$30.00 a week seems like a fair price. All I know it cost me $1700 for ONE employee (before he even started) who was supposed to be TEMPORARY (in the first place) and only lasted 2 weeks anyway. I didn't have the benefit of using a driver leasing company, they wanted me to pay THEM .46CPM (and they would pay him .26)

It was wrong then, it's wrong now.
But did you buy them the mowers or trimmers they used?
Lawn rakes?
Leaf bags?
See the difference here?
