Ok, well find comfort in the supposition that more folks agree with you than me.
    And that's all good.

In many ways I think that you and others misunderstand me, and that's probably my fault.
I live in a small (1/4 acre lot community). It's not set up for trucks, and there's signs specifically restricting them.

So, carry on and best wishes.

I would like that except I don't drive OTR anymore. I used to stay in the truck for two months at a time. Nowadays, I want four days off after finishing my 70.

Are driving OTR? Are you driving at all?

I drive to get tacos and beer, and occasionally I actually drive for my business. Which basically means, I load up my box truck, haul ### out to my buyer, get rid of whatever I have for them, then either head to another one, or head back home. Due to my business, I have a couple buyers in TX, OH, & PA. I also pick up stuff from some customers of mine in VA, NC and sometimes SC. Mostly NC and VA.

Electronic waste recycling pays very well. Only reason I do the traveling is so I can deal with the companies in person. Much easier to do in person vs shipping it. I'm there for the sorting and weighting, and all that good stuff. Wasn't for this forum I'd still be shipping #### and losing money.

Invite always stands. Unless my sandbar goes under water, then well, I'll see ya on the mainland, at a location to be decided in the event of global warming, and/or rising sea levels.

I know I know, I'm not a real trucker to some of you out there, an that is fine with me. I do just fine with my chosen business. I break things for a living and profit off of it. ;) The driving is just a cherry on top for me. I'm weird like that.

Plus, I like to spread the humor around and who needs a laugh more than truckers?

So stuff gets broken in NC and VA, then you haul that broken stuff to TX, OH, and PA?

So now they can cry when there’s more tired truckers driving around to find a parking spot… only reason most park in residential is parking is limited.. old timers who say they never parked at home took up a spot that a working man could’ve used for the night unless they parked at a terminal.

Or they rented a spot at $100 a month.
    Could be anything, frankly.
Could have gotten lucky, or could have planned.
    Ya just never know

    Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.
