    As of yesterday morning, I now have a working heater in my pickup... Had a butt full of no heat last winter, not doing that again. The bearings in the blower motor had gone out and the squirrel cage was rubbing on the metal shroud, thereby causing the motor to overload and stop.

    Nice. Had those in the PI during a typhoon. Stand in the middle of the living room and feel moisture on my face.

    Well I bought a starter. But both TAs I stopped at have their shops closed for the weekend. I don't know if I have long enough extension to get to all the bolts.

    Either that I idle all week till Monday morning.

    You probably need some type of impact or air tool to break the old bolts loose. Stuff has a tendency rust and corrode. Not too mention if you snap one off.

    And you parted it out; replaced the bearings, reassembled the motor and installed. Beat some parts house out of the sale of a new aftermarket motor which did not fit and had to go back and get the adapter kit.

    Well that was the plan... But disassembling the original motor presented a few issues. So I just got a new motor, with the company discount and while on the clock. Cant beat getting paid to work on your own vehicle and using highly discounted parts... Lol
