    In my tiny little world I personally know two guys that are currently running around with new 22.5 on the steer and lo 24.5 on the drives. Drives me crazy. Lol. The other close friend I have running low 24.5 ended up with a set of Conti’s on his steer because they were the only low 24.5’s he could find in Lincoln a few weeks ago when he needed steers.

    They don’t have to get rid of manuals, they’re just not worth as many points on the GHG stuff. But there are a couple 18 speed auto’s currently in the works.

    Walmart has 0.
    JB hunt has 0
    Schneider has 0.
    Shaffer corp has 0.
    Werner has 0.
    Swift has 0
    Old Dominion has 0.

    I have just listed half of the trucking megas, the ones who tell KW, Freightliner, international, mack, what THEY are willing to pay for a truck, what equipment THEY want on a new truck. The manufacturers say "yes sir" and do it, or they go elsewhere.(have you ever seen a UPS KW? They look like nothing else on the road) When 50% of new trucks OR MORE are taken by megas, repair companies and tire shops will have their size tires in stock, constantly. Sometimes they have company tires on company wheels, ready to go.

    If the companies stated above don't order 24.5 tires, on ANY of their trucks, its as rare as high floatation tires on OTR trucks.

    I have seen 24.5's all over. Never once on a company truck. That's why I say rare. Not because they don't exist, but because they are not ubiquitous.

    Super singles are more common than 24.5's. IN OTR.

    My OCD wouldn't drive me crazy with that too. I can't even stand to mix brands let alone sizes. Everything has to match!

    Again. You've completely missed the point. I can't keep clapping with one hand here, my friend. OTR is the only sector in Transportation and there are no other trucks outside the Megas. Got it. You've made all that clear. Carry on, sir.

    I could have sworn I drove a 2006 pete with a semi-automated manual that was an 18. I used it for a superload. now I can't find
    Those are the common trucks.

    Not saying they didn’t exist before, all I’m saying is there are new ones coming that have urge to move and creep mode and everything else that comes with the latest tech.
