I am hauling for Uber Freight and when i got to the receiver, I was told that it was a drop trailer load rather than LIVE UNLOAD (as it states on the rate con)
Got on the call with customer support and was told that it is actually a drop trailer and they made a mistake while posting and Rate Con reads live unload as well.
I have no idea when will they unload, its my 2nd day in Reno, NV and Uber has no answer for when will my trailer will be empty.
If I don't get my trailer tomorrow I will most likely get stuck for the weekend here
Delivering to Chewys RNO2
Please Advice

Get a rate con, for example a 12 hr, lay over per day 3 hundred. Or even 250 $ before you start unloading?
-
They will pay $250 a day but the concern here is that even they don't know how long will the receiver take.
This was my quest in general as well that at a time like this what are our options apart from just getting the layover. Because it is losing more loads and more money -
Its ubers screwup, tell them that the rate was for live unload and they have X hours (i would go 72 hours from arival) to have stuff off your trailer or you will be forced to start chargeing them and/or the customer storage fees ontop of detention fees. Id say $500 a day plus $250 detention.

Well that sucks it should be at least 500 a day. Every once and a while I do drop trailer loads it states on the rate con after 48hr if it's not empty it's 500 a day but I've never had that happen yet. When the rates were high they were paying 2500 for a drop load over the weekend.

I delivered to chewies here in Phoenix one time on a Saturday, took about 3 1/2 hours.
When finished, the guy apologized for the long unload time because they were shorthanded that day.
There were three trucks in front of me when I arrived and one came in behind me -
$250 a day for trailer and $250 a day for the truck? or is it $250 all inclusive?
should be $500 for each.GreenPete359, CrappieJunkie, Big Road Skateboard and 2 others Thank this. -

If it were me I would go up to the top forklift guy and ask him what he wants for lunch. Tell him you’re gonna order Uber eats. And then when nobody’s looking slip him a . Hundred dollar bill. I would guess you’ll be out of there in a few hours. Lol

Tell them they have 2 hours to unload their crap, otherwise you're going to the local humane society and getting every dog they have and turning them loose in the warehouse. Lol
Warrior Pump and cke Thank this.
