Im in Edmonton and am interested in an open board deck work situation but the pay seems weak with most carriers. Is there a company that pays hourly cross border long haul?
Is there anyone making 120k+/ yr hauling to usa as company driver?

Evans Trucking (Coaldale, AB) was claiming their guys could do about $100K a year. - I don’t know the details on what it takes to get that but it’s the highest I’ve heard of for general open deck, OTR work.
To realistically get $120 a year I think you’ve got to look into the heavy haul / oversize segment.Canadianhauler21, Another Canadian driver, upnorthwpg and 3 others Thank this. -
It's not impossible, but rare.
$100,000 is a lot more common.Canadianhauler21, Prairie Trucker, Another Canadian driver and 1 other person Thank this. -
I do 140k a year cross border. Hourly and mileage. Ltl, not deck.
