You're right. I saw that and grabbed a screenshot of the device as is visible in the last scene, right after it pulls away. It looks to be some kind of quick connect/disconnect air line device. Nothing could go wrong here, right. :)

You know that your fifth wheel is "some sort of quick connect/disconnect device", right?

meh, OPEC may TRY to cut production, but I doubt the Africans, Iranians or Venezuelans will even read the memo.

just as much as a yard jockey who forgets to disconnect his air lines and screams and yells at you trying to stop him from pulling away then thanking you for saving his job 2 min later.

I’m pretty sure machines can and will replace lots of jobs in the US. We already know more and more accident prone idiots are entering the scene, the question is when is the balance tilted towards the accidents caused by autonomous trucks better then the accidents caused by humans?

Rideandrepair, CAXPT and JoeTruck Thank this.

BRO's these rates are so bad now, no one can even afford to drive to the shipper, cause all of the fuel is on the space shuttle.

well, I get that. From personal experience, I really get that.
It's better to lucky than smart. I got lucky and unloaded my truck at the end of last year. It wasn't because I was smart and knew what was coming, it was because I was lucky and blessed.
Then becoming a company driver has taken me 9 full months to appreciate what I have; but I do now.

With rates and fuel being what they are, I would have almost been forced into a company position. Truck was paid for, but running for 7 days and netting $1,500 would have drove me crazy.

The current "business cycle" seems to be hell bent on killing the little guy, whether it be trucking or making sandwiches. I'm just glad I'm not part of it.......OR sitting at home with a parked truck because I'm too stubborn or proud to run for pennies.

It is the current administration hell bent on killing these little guys bro. Not these current busyness cycles.
