Aha... a bad case of "can't keep the lefthand door closed." That sort of "time management" usually gets you an invite to inquire about how things are done at some other truckin' outfit.
382.201 says "thou shalt not have more than a BAC of 0.04 when reporting for duty."
382.207 says "thou shalt not imbibe within 4 hours of reporting for duty."
However, 392.5a2 Says "no driver shall use alcohol, be under the influence of alcohol, or have any measured alcohol concentration or detected presence of alcohol while on duty, or operating, or in physical control of a CMV..."

Well, I talked to the fleet manager this morning. Apparently, he's seeing a pattern since this is my second trainer. All I want is a decent trainer. As a "former" Marine, I can "deal" with certain things, but incompetence has never been something I'm good at dealing with. I let him know everything about this guy. I guess I'll wait and see what happens.

Just got of the phone with another trainer. After about 30-45 minues on the phone, h seems to be someone I can more than "deal" with. He seems to have about the same attitude about work that I do. Looking forward to learning from this guy.

MicksRule Thanks this. -
Please pardon the interruption, but this sounds like a good time to pray that MicksRule & the rest of us get good quality trainers & it would help if mine is a christian. I'm going to prime on Feb 22. Good hunting MicksRule & i'll pray TTYL

Don't let the my trainer experience keep you from doing this. I still feel the company is worth it at this point. Every company that trains will have good and bad trainers, I knew this coming from England. My last trainer there is a friend for life, actually, I'd consider the guy one of my best friends.
BTW, hopefully without offending anyone, i'm not Christian, nor do I practice my faith at all. Thanks for you well wishings, though. Also, the guy I spoke about above is a Born Again Christian.DirtySideDown Thanks this. -
The major consideration in assigning trainers is usually smoking/non-smoking status, followed by gender.

I am from Upstate NY.I was wondering if Prime hire's ppl from Upstate NY?Thank you.

We are from Western NY State, 60 miles south of Buffalo, and Bill got hired no problem. It would probably be easier for you to orient in Pittston, PA which is near Scranton, PA.
