Even if it doesn't help her it might be beneficial to newbzs like me in the future. Thanks!
Company Driver: Midwest Regional ($83k/yr - Home Weekly) | Fremont Contract Carriers

Seems a little high, again adjust for region as midwest is cheap. Neighbor was a company driver for Bosch/Linde out of Southern Wisconsin and averaged 65k-90k but was home nightly with 5 day work weeks. Suggested and offered to get me hired but I felt a little overwhelmed and unqualified hauling stuff that will kill you and others pretty quickly even if just by asphyxiation.

Hauling beer sounds just fine for me! I'll have super valuable and satisfying cargo if that zombie apocalypse ever hits.:D

Now I'm having second thoughts. Searching reviews, they are not very much loved. Some say the equipment is poorly maintained. Many say they don't get enough miles. Schedule is snafu because their customer base is limited so you hurry up to deliver on time then sit forever waiting for next load, often where you delivered.

Maybe a girl should listen to such things. Big pay per Mile means nothing if no miles.

I filled app out for Fremont. Should hear from them next week.

If you want to make the most $ and the slip seating at your last job didn't bother you why don't you just apply at Walmart? Run out of Sanger. FCC will be an improvement over some of these other turd jobs you are inquiring about but still not close to Walmart wages.

I think walmart micromanagement would get on her last nerve.

Possibly, but micromanage might be easier to deal with when you get the top pay and don't have the bs of working for another mega.

FCC is an out and back company, that’s how they operate, but I will say it was the best trucking company I was ever associated with.

I have several friends that drive for them. Yes, the micromanagement drives them crazy at times but for the most part if you just do your job, Pre trip and post trip they leave you alone. Most of my friends don't even slip seat out of Sanger. They clean the truck up and pull their bedding out when they go home but the truck seldom moves on their home time.

Don't mention my name to them lol, I used to drink beer with a recruiter at fcc years ago and every time cornhusker moter lines ticked me off I'd throw an app at fcc , that was over 20 years ago and I think I'm still on the blacklist at fcc .
