@James90 thank you. I really do like this place. I know it's still early, but I can see this being "home." Awesome people, great equipment, good miles, and they're respectful of my hometime. Respect goes a long way on both sides

Still rolling over here at Woodfield. Delivered some coils yesterday over here in Tulsa. Getting this 34 reset right quick, then it's a 300 mile deadhead down Gurdon, AR for a lumber load that goes to Granite City, IL. Think I might have quite possibly the best dispatcher in the entire industry. It makes all the difference in the world for a driver to feel like they're in good hands. Or it does to this driver anyway. Yall keep that shiny side up

Another update...still rolling over here at Woodfield. Delivered that load of OBS in Granite City, and picked up bags of blasting sand on pallets out of Coffeen, IL headed for El Dorado, AR. Delivered that and picked up them cable reels in El Dorado for a 2 stopper in West Virginia. From there, I went up Cambridge, OH and picked up skidded coils and Delivered in Sheridan, AR. Next load (and current) picked up more OBS in Fordyce, AR and went home. Just came back out this morning and am currently awaiting my delivery in Evansville, IN in the morning. Already have my next 2 pre-plans...if everything goes as planned. Pick up more coils in Newburg, IN for delivery in Conroe, TX, and then it's pretty deadhead up to Waldo, AR for a load of lumber destined for Fremont, NE. Seems like it's gonna be a good week. I'm really liking this covered wagon, and flatbed just seems to have better runs. Maybe, I was just ready for a change. Hope yall are doing good out there

Hi all. Ended the pay week with 3,100 miles. Dispatcher said she was gonna try to keep me at 3,000 or more, and she's doin a real good job. Delivered the boards in Fremont, NE...after fighting the load all day. The front bundles kept "walking" on me, but I got it delivered with no damage. Did a short hop from Council Bluffs, IA down to Edwardsville, KS of OSB that delivered the same day. Had a good deadhead after that, all the way over to Coffeen, IL. Picked up bags of Black Beauty (blasting sand) on pallets headed back El Dorado, AR. Delivered that this morning, and headed over to GP in Gurdon, AR for yet another load of OSB headed for Grand Ledge, MI. After delivery Monday, I'm supposed to pick up in Holt, MI and deliver in Arlington, TX. I gotta say, I'm really impressed with the length of haul, and especially the freight lanes on the flatbed side here. Think I might just stick around for a minute

Made the Michigan delivery, and picked up in Holt, Michigan headed to Arlington, Texas. It's a nice 1200 mile run. Gonna try Ugalde's restaurant in Warren, Indiana out this evening. Been hearing about it for years. @bryan21384 where ya at theses days? Every time I see a tan Climate Express Volvo, I wonder, "is that him" lol

Well, I got the Arlington load delivered. The guy in the office had a bit of an attitude, but I just looked over it, and handled what I was there to do. It ain't ever really worth it to engage them. Left there, and got started on a 308 mile deadhead over to Fordyce, AR for another load of OSB. Ended up going to the Camden yard and doing a 34 before picking up (hours were really low). Left out this morning and picked up. Made it to McLean, IL, and shut down at that big Road Ranger. Thought I was gonna get a good meal in the restaurant, but they close at 1500 on the weekend....I know right. Ended up making a sandwich in the truck. All in all, I'm still rolling good over here. Hope everybody else is doing well

Good evening all. Freight's been kinda wacky here, as I'm sure it is everywhere. I've still been running good. Still running the same lanes for the most part. I have been getting a lot of runs from Arkansas to Minnesota and South Dakota area here lately. It's mostly been lumber up and steel back down. I'm averaging about 850-900 miles per trip with the occasional 500 miler in the mix too, but that's normally a set up load, because they don't wanna deadhead 500 miles lol. Still loving it here. Mrs. Lisa (DM) seems to have made it goal for me to average 3,000 miles per week, and we get really close. Some weeks 3,300, and others are 2,800. You can really make good money, if you want to. I've stayed out a little longer than usual this time, and I'm ready some off time.gonna take a few days next week

Man you've certainly earned that time off. You've been running your ### off. I had no idea Woodfield ran up to Minnesota. I'm headed home this weekend myself. I kept running because the money was too good not too lol

@bryan21384 think they'll run anywhere if it pays enough. We don't do much of the extreme Northeast or northwest. I've only been to Mass 1 time, and that was dry box. I've never even been offered a load to Cali (not complaining at all), but I did go to Phoenix once; again with a box, but I think those loads might have been broker freight. I'm ready go home, even tho I'm gonna be busy the whole time. I've had an 88 Jeep for about 5 years that I haven't drove since I've had it. Needed a clutch and the pinion was out in the rear-end. I finally got it running last time I went home. This time out, I ordered some black powder coated 15x10.5 wheels wrapped in 35 trail grapps, and they were delivered last Monday. Gonna get them put swapped out and see what she looks like
