Grinding, crunching, ripping, tearing, loud thuds as pieces of metal ricochet off of the frame rails....you know, all the usual stuff that leads you to believe it might be a good time to coast over to the shoulder and stop.Kimia2005 Thanks this.
-
Then why would you even ask about pre-tripping if you are bobtail?ZVar Thanks this.
-
Do you think drivers of straight trucks don’t do pre-trips? Any commercial vehicle should be pre, and post triped.

Does it startup ?
Pre trip done.
God prefers Diesels and LameMule Thank this. -
Why the manufacturers don't have an audio warning for driving over a certain speed with the axles locked is unbelievable. Heck, the Intertrashional beeps every ten seconds you're in manual mode.
snowlauncher and Kimia2005 Thank this. -
They do. My new 579 re-inflates the airbags above 5mph. The power divider unlocks at 25mph if you leave the switch engaged.God prefers Diesels, D.Tibbitt, JC1971 and 1 other person Thank this.

I'm pretty sure that Freightliners kick it back off around that same speed. At least my old Columbia did.God prefers Diesels and Long FLD Thank this.
