How are Brokers NOT to blame?

Where is the #### driver shortage when you need it.

 

My daughter was also born in 95, she is amazing in my eyes, and would never blame someone else for something she screwed up.

 

Never knew you were a kid. My oldest daughter is less than 18 months younger than you, and my youngest is less than 5 years younger.

 

The want more people to be classified as employees to make sure they’re getting as much tax money as possible. The 2 check system would still work because the driver would be an employee of the company their truck is leased to. What the Department of Labor is talking about isn’t as cut and dry as AB5 in California. The DOL is talking about looking at different factors, and one that would help guys who own their trucks and lease to carriers is who bears the cost of equipment and if there’s risk of profit or loss based on choices the person can make.

 

Figured you had read up on it. I just read a few paragraphs on it and moved on since it was not gonna do anything with my operation.

 

My parents raised me the same way... Unfortunatly i think that type of thinking is becoming the minority anymore

 

I will own when things are my own fault, I err on the side of assuming slightly more than my due of responsibility for my circumstances, but it is undeniable that the boomers structured the world we live in to benefit THEM, not gen x,y,z,millenials etc.

I dont attribute that to malice, but I refuse to accept the criticism that Im doing demonstrably worse than my parent's generation because I'm lazy, entitled etc etc, Why? Because its simply not true.

There was no convention of 6 year olds in the early 90s that got together and forced their participation trophies on their parents... I will point a finger where it belongs
