Would probably make even more if they raffled them off and sent the proceeds in the form of clean water, food, medical and building supplies.

Is Harley kidding me? They are going to send 28 motorcycles to the most crime ridden third world country in the northern hemisphere? I want to know how it will turn out for those people.....send water and food, I'm pretty sure that would be more helpful than some advertising stunt.

I have 2 thoughts on this: 1) it's obviously a tax write off, but so what millions of people and companies have donated to Haiti for the same reason.

    2) What's left of their roads are probably not passable by car or truck, but a doctor on a motorcycle with saddlebags full of medical supplys can still do a world of good.

4 Wheelers may be too wide. Uhmm, the American economy kinda sucks right now. Not a lot of people have the money to buy a brand new Harley. I'm guessing from a money standpoint it's better for H-D to donate the motorcycles.
