I can't find a trucking company out there that will hire me, with 2 speeding tickets in 2005 that are 30+ over the limit. Think I'm outta luck until they come off in 2008 - man I wish now I could have changed what I did then --- Any companies you suggest I look into are very appreciated! If I still have any preferences available these are them.. Company driver / NE runs / paid or reimburrsed training / actually any company -- I'm willing to relocated and pay for training, but hopefully they offer it. Thanks Jeff

Don't think you will have much luck. 15 mph over is considered a serious offense. Most will say no more than 1 serious moving violation in 3 years. To have 2 in 1 year over 30 is going to shut a lot of doors for you.
-
You won't be able to get hired by any reputable trucking company with your driving record.
-
You will have more luck trying to get with a small company. Some of them dont even check Your record,as long as You can drive.
Good luck. -
train. the training schools/company's i spoke with so far haven't asked about severity of ticket, just how many offenses.
isn't 30 over a "wreckless driving" charge? -
20 over could get you thrown in the clink if they're of the mind. Consider most emergency vehicles are only authorized 15 over, generally.
-
Its probably considered the same as wreckless driving by the insurance companies. There are companies willing to take you because they are desperate for drivers, AJ worked for one for a few months, but they tend to be sporadic jobs, either too much work to do, or no work to do. If you don't already posses a CDL, we would advise doing something else for awhile.

See my other post in the accidents tickets did't stop him from driving even with a DUI . I know everybody makes mistakes and we all (MOST OF US) regret them at some point in our lives.
-
Any reputible trucking co.will not touch you til these tickets are several years old and you have established a good driving record.30 over thats a pretty bad ticket, then there are two of them.No insurance co.will insure you.And you definitly have to be insurable.

The only thing that's going to help in this case is TIME. All the advice now is after the fact. If you want to be a professional driver, you must always drive in a professional manner. 30 OVER is NOT professional.
NEVER! NEVER! NEVER! Don't ever just pay a ticket and walk away. ALWAYS! ALWAYS! ALWAYS! If possible, go and see the hearing officer, the judge, whoever. I've been amazed at what I've seen dismissed, reduced and downgraded to non-moving equipment violations. See about traffic school and getting it off your record. DO SOMETHING!!! NEVER JUST SHUT UP AND PAY TICKETS!!!
