Got caught up in the traffic on that one..... There was still quite a few being picked outta the ditch when I wandered through.

Apparently it happened when a westbound crossed over into the eastbound and that's what initiated the crash.
Don't know why particular they did.
But a contributing factor in this was that the accident happened just passed the peak of a hill so on it the approach up the hill you would have came up the top of the hill and had a very short time to react.
And if they weren't paying attention or tailing someone who wasn't it's easy to see why it could have ended badly.
At least two trucks that I saw ended up running off the left side and crashing right into the mountainside relatively intact but not in great shape.Last edited: Nov 5, 2022

Here's two pictures my wife grabbed as we passed by.
